Legend K9 Solutions is a mobile dog training service. I specialize in all sorts of Behavior Modification, Aggression Rehab, and On/Off Leash Obedience. My goal is to help owners and dogs of all sizes and breeds gain structure and guidance through balanced dog training methods. How I got started…
My interest in animals has always been prominent, as I would find myself spending countless hours reading about wolves and other carnivores of the wild for years. I always loved dogs, and when I was in the right place in life to finally own one, I took the chance and the rest is history. I volunteered for dog rescues in my free time, and training dogs came very naturally as I was exposed to a very large variety of breeds, temperaments, and behavior issues.
Training Methods
My approach to training dogs is via Operant Conditioning. I believe balanced dog training and using a balanced approach is not only important in creating structure for ANY breed of dog, but it is also practical for any dog owner. The 4 quadrants in which I follow to create balance are Positive Reinforcement, Negative Reinforcement, Positive Punishment, and Negative Punishment. How these methodologies are implemented on a case by case bases can be viewed in the blogs section as I love to share my training experiences with various clients.
